ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON TUESDAY, MARCH 10, AT 11:00 AM PREVAILING TIME, SEALED BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED, OPENED AND READ IN PUBLIC BY THE RARITAN TOWNSHIP PURCHASING AGENT AT THE RARITAN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ROOM 128, ONE MUNICIPAL DRIVE, RARITAN TOWNSHIP, HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. FOR THE FOLLOWING:
ROAD MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR MATERIALS
SPECIFICATIONS AND BID DOCUMENTS MAY BE OBTAINED IN THE OFFICE OF THE TOWNSHIP CLERK, 1 MUNICIPAL DRIVE, FLEMINGTON, NJ 08822 (908-806-6101) MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:30 AM AND 4:30 PM OR BY EMAILING
PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS WILL BE FURNISHED WITH A COPY OF THE SPECIFICATIONS AND BID FORMS ON PROPER NOTICE. EACH BID MUST BE SUBMITTED ON THE STANDARD PROPOSAL FORM ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUISITE BID BOND, SURETY, CHECKLIST, QUESTIONNAIRES AND AFFIDAVITS AS SET FORTH IN THE INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS AND THE BID DOCUMENT CHECKLIST. BIDS MUST BE ENCLOSED IN SEALED ENVELOPES BEARING THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE BIDDER AND THE NAME OF THE PROJECT, ADDRESSED TO THE TOWNSHIP CLERK AND BE DELIVERED ON OR BEFORE THE HOUR NAMED ABOVE. BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF P.L. 1975, CHAPTER 127, (N.J.A.C. 17:27).
THE RARITAN TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS AND TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITY IN ANY BID TO THE BENEFIT OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RARITAN.
