Emergency Management
Welcome to the Office of Emergency Management
The mission and focus of the Raritan Township Office of Emergency Management ("OEM") is to prioritize and protect the lives and property of the residents from man-made and natural disasters through a four-step approach:
- Mitigation
- Preparedness
- Recovery
- Response
OEM works closely with Federal, State, County and Local agencies to assure the coordination of large-scale events and enforces New Jersey State Disaster Laws.
Become a CERT Member
Community Emergency Response Team ("CERT") members promote emergency preparedness, give critical support to first responders in emergencies, provide immediate assistance to victims, collect disaster information to support first responder efforts and provide help immediately following a major emergency or disaster.
To volunteer and serve the community, complete the CERT Application and submit them via email to: oem@raritantwpnj.gov.
