Citizen Scientist
Do you want to actively participate in scientific research? Citizen scientists are regular citizens who collect environmental and scientific data in their local communities to help government agencies and private organizations protect, manage and improve our natural world. Opportunities to participate in research projects can be done individually or as a group activity and are generally suitable for both children and adults.

Use the online NJ Wildlife Tracker application to report: 1) rare wildlife species sightings as well as 2) observations of wildlife (of any kind) on roadways. Please practice “Safety First” in every situation, especially along roadways. Please also give wildlife their space.
