JOB VACANCY: Municipal Engineer

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Township of Raritan is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Municipal Engineer.

This is a full-time, on-site position and candidates must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New Jersey with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Municipal Engineer. AutoCAD/Civil 3d experience required.

Primary responsibilities include attending Planning Board and Board of Adjustment meetings and providing plan review on applications, overseeing/performing inspection of site plan/subdivision projects, coordinating and overseeing tax map revisions, reviewing grading and stormwater permit applications, developing budget and capital improvement plans, and supervision of department staff and contracted consultants.
