JOB VACANCY: ASSISTANT TAX ASSESSOR
Assistant Tax Assessor – Raritan Township (Hunterdon County) – Raritan Township is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Tax Assessor. This is a full-time, on-site position. Candidates must have experience in the field of assessing, appraising or mass appraisal inspections and be very comfortable using computer utilities. Primary responsibilities include processing of deeds, answering questions from the public, helping to prepare information for defending tax appeals, tracking permits from the Building Department, commercial/residential/ farmland inspections, maintaining property data, and generating Income and Expense forms and Farmland applications for the Tax Assessor office.
