Raritan Township Police Department receives donations from AT EASE Foundation to secure emergency equipment and enhance response

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The AT EASE Foundation donated emergency response lockers and tactical claws to the Raritan Township Police Department (RTPD) to enhance emergency responses, Jan. 15, 2025.

Pat Grillo, founder of AT EASE Foundation, donated three emergency response lockers and four Jersey Tactical Claws, totaling approximately $5,000. The delivery was made at Hunterdon Central Regional High School (HCRHS) where two lockers will be installed and the third at J.P. Case Middle School.

According to RTPD Lt. Ryan Garbolino, these lockers are meant to securely store emergency response equipment for first responders within schools to allow officers access to the equipment during an emergency without having to leave the premises.

“The three donated lockers will be the first emergency response lockers installed in any of our schools in Raritan Township,” Garbolino added.

In addition to the lockers, Grillo’s donation package which included four tactical claws made by Jersey Tactical Corporation, a local company that provides law enforcement, firefighters, and military personnel with high-quality emergency response forcible entry and breaching tools, are used to access motorists stuck in crashed vehicles and break through doors during emergencies. Jersey Tactical and Grillo’s organization have made several donations to Hunterdon County schools previously.
