PUBLIC NOTICE: Raritan Township Police Department Scheduled On-Site Assessment 05/12/2025

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Raritan Township Police Department (“RTPD”) is scheduled for an on-site assessment to obtain accreditation and recognition for its professional standards.

Administered by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (“NJSACOP”), the accreditation program requires agencies to demonstrate compliance with best practice standards across five basic functions: administrative, personnel, operations, investigative, and arrestee/detainee.

Agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (908) 788-9364 on Monday, May 12, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Comments will be taken by the Assessment Team.
