COMMUNITY PLANNER: Make Your Voice Heard Through Hunterdon County’s Bicycle Plan Meeting 02/26/2026
RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Hunterdon County announced it is hosting a public meeting to encourage participation from area residents in the development of a county-wide Bicycle Plan at the County’s Main Library located at 314 State Route 12, Building #3 in Flemington, Feb. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The focus of the proposed Hunterdon County Bicycle Plan will be an interconnected county-wide bicycle network. The plan intends to connect residents and visitors with educational opportunities, job prospects, healthcare and social services, and the County’s vast cultural and recreational offerings while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The plan is anticipated to build upon the county’s existing bicycle infrastructure which includes bicycle lanes, dozens of trails, and 18 miles of the Delaware and Raritan Canal towpath.
