TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Construction on Route 31 South to Begin 03/28/2025

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — Please be advised that on or about March 28, 2025, work will commence on Route 31 South, from Walter Foran Boulevard to Wescott Drive.

The project will involve the installation of advanced construction signs, installation of new traffic signals at the Route 31 & Minneakoning intersection, installation of ADA curb ramps, concrete sidewalks, reconstruction of the center left-turn lane, center concrete island, drainage improvements, utility relocation, roadway widening, and paving within Raritan Township.

Expected working hours to be from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The anticipated project duration is one year.

As residents may experience delays, they are also encouraged to allot extra travel time and use alternate routes during the scheduled work period.
