TRAFFIC ADVISORY: County Bridge Q-178 Construction Activity Begins 07/07/2025

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Engineering Division of Hunterdon County is advising residents that construction work on Cross Creek Drive over Assiscong Creek is scheduled to begin on or about Jul. 7.

The County’s qualified contractor, Reivax Contracting, will be performing stone veneer and concrete cap repairs. The bridge is located on Cross Creek Drive over Assiscong Creek in Raritan Township, approximately 300 feet west of the Cross Creek Drive intersection with Cherryville Hollow Road.  

Repairs are expected to be completed in or around three (3) months.

While the road will remain OPEN to traffic during construction, residents and commuters may experience delays. Drive safely through work zones, follow the directions of traffic control personnel, allocate extra travel time and plan to use alternate routes.
