TRAFFIC ADVISORY: County Route 523 Construction Activity Begins 07/07/2025

RARITAN TWP., N.J. (Hunterdon County) — The Engineering Division of Hunterdon County is advising residents that construction work on County Route 523 is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, Jul. 7.

County contractors will be performing pavement operations from Orchard Drive to Leffler Hill Road for approximately one (1) week, weather permitting.

While a single, alternating traffic lane pattern will be used during the construction period, residents and commuters may experience delays. Drive safely through work zones, follow the directions of traffic control personnel, allocate extra travel time and plan to use alternate routes.
