Public Notices & Advertisements
On Jun. 30, 2025, Governor Phil Murphy signed P.L. 2025, c. 72 (S4654) into law, which amends the legal notices requirements under the Open Public Meetings Act ("OPMA"). Until Mar. 1, 2026, public entities can comply with OPMA either by posting notices in a newspaper or on their website. After which, all public notices will be published on the municipal website.
This webpage fulfills Raritan Township's (the "Township") obligations under P.L. 2025, c.72, requiring public entities to publish legal notices online, maintain an accessible archive, and provide a homepage link to this page. For statewide legal notices and additional agency listings, visit the New Jersey Secretary of State's Legal Notices Portal.
In its proactive approach, the Township makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and availability of all public legal notices posted on this website.
